Previously a 1 bed flat in a dire state but great location with lovely views, we were able to negotiate a good price for the property because of the amount of work required and we were paying cash. We spotted the potential to create an additional bedroom in the property and converted it into a 2 bed apartment, along with a comprehensive schedule of works including installation of brand new central heating system, kitchen, bathroom, flooring, electrics, full skim, painting and decoration of the entire flat.

The property has now been transformed from a derelict flat into a high quality home for a family (with an improved EPC from E to C – making it a warm, energy efficient home).

The new valuation came back at more than double our purchase price and when sold, should give a decent margin after all costs. The property has been radically transformed and we’re delighted it’s going to become  a home for another family.
